Here's Why Japanese People Love Hawaiian Honey

It is no secret that Japanese tourism is thriving in Hawaii due to a multitude of factors: the presence of a robust Japanese community, a manageable 7-8 hour flight duration from Tokyo, access to Western commodities at competitive prices when compared to their cost in Japan, and last but not least, the gorgeous scenery and mild weather. According to the Hawaii Tourism Authority, Japan brings more international tourists to Hawaii than any other country. It is clear that Japanese tourists also love to drop serious money in Hawaii. Hawaii Beekeeper Awarded Design Patent for Tiki Bottle

The United States Patent and Trademark Office has awarded a new patent to Malcolm Yorkston, a local inventor and entrepreneur based on Oahu. While receiving a patent for one’s creation would be reason for anyone to celebrate, this particular patent comes with a story more personal and heartfelt than the average inventor can most likely lay claim to. The Health Benefits of Honey

Honey has been revered for thousands of years for its healing properties and health benefits, and you can use it for these purposes too, as long as what you buy is raw, unprocessed honey.  First, raw honey is chock-full of antioxidants. Antioxidants help to prevent cell damage in the body, which helps in anti-aging. Foods high in antioxidants are also believed to help fight disease, although research has not yet proven this.  Honey also can speed the healing process of wounds. Raw honey contains hydrogen peroxide, a natural disinfectant. Because of its thick, viscous nature, honey is also a good barrier between a wound and outside bacteria.  Besides its anti-bacterial benefits, honey can help sooth a number of painful issues....
